August 6th - "Hell on Wheels" Movie Night
It's Midnight Movie Madness with the Sac City Rollers!
On Friday, August 6th at midnight we're hosting the Sacramento premiere of "Hell on Wheels", a documentary about the earliest days of modern-day roller derby.
Join us and our Mystic Cinema friends at the Old Tower Theater in Roseville (421 Vernon St). Come out and meet your favorite Derby Girls and take in an exciting movie about the rebirth of our great sport!
"...the kind of twists, drama, cat fights and compound fractures that only happen in real life. ...the story is extremely compelling, sometimes laugh-out-loud outrageous and above all inspiring."
- Ain't It Cool News
"Hell on Wheels is full of adrenaline-fueled highs, heartbreaking lows, and lots of chicks in short skirts kicking the s*** out of each other."

Our March bus trip was so successful, we've decided to put together another! The Sac City Rollers have chartered a bus trip from Sacramento to Reno for some fun at the Silver Legacy Casino.
We invite all fans who are 21 years and over to join us. There will be drink specials, food, and BINGO games for prizes.
Tickets cost $35, but upon arrival at the casino, all travelers will receive gambling and food vouchers totaling fifteen dollars, making this an incredible deal for everyone!
Busses will be leaving from the Target on Madison Avenue (near the I-80) at 8:00 am on August 21st. Get your tickets TODAY!
For more information, please contact Sha-Naughty, our head of fundraising.
Tickets are now available for advance purchase from Brown Paper Tickets!
Fundraising Opportunities
We appreciate all the support you, our fans have given us over the years, and want to ensure that everyone is able to come and see us play. We're purchasing a portable surface ("Skate Court") that will allow us to hold bouts in any venue. We've created a special "Spare a Square" fundraising campaign to help make this dream a reality, and we're asking for help from our fans.
We are also participating in an ongoing online fundraising program to help cover some of our expenses this season. If you receive magazines at your home, or you are looking for a new magazine to read, there are some great discounts available. 40% of the proceeds from your order will go toward the Sac City Rollers. Please take a few moments to look at these offers, and we ask that you help us by spreading the word to your friends and family.
