The Rude Girls take on the Sweaty Betties in their second match of the season Saturday June 14th. Last time these two teams went head to head there was a lot of hard hitting action with the Sweaty Betties taking the win. The Rude Girls have been training hard and looking to stomp the Betties and send them back to the locker room in shame. We will be playing at Foothill Skate Inn located at 4700 Auburn Blvd. Sacramento, CA. Doors open at 6:30pm and tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door (kids under 6 FREE!). Our friends from Sac Brew will be serving up ice cold drinks in the beer garden. Bring the whole family and cheer on the girls of the Sac City Rollers. There will be a half time musical chairs show and raffle prize contest. Tickets can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com or at The BEAT, corner of 17th and Jst Sacramento, CA.

Help us support children fighting cancer with St. Baldricks

From June through September, the Sac City Rollers are partnering with St. Baldrick's to raise money to help fight cancer. St. Baldrick's is the world's largest volunteer-driven fundraising organization for childhood cancer research. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends, family and the general public.

Our fundraising efforts will culminate on Saturday, September 20th, when members of the Sac City Rollers will shave their heads in support of St. Baldrick's during half-time of our bout! We are also challenging fans to raise money and shave their heads as well.

To make it extra fun, the Sac City Rollers will be competing with the Bakersfield Rollergirls to see which league can raise the most money AND have the most girls shave their heads!!

If you want to donate, or be a shavee, go to www.stbaldricks.org for all the links you need to participate!!

Please help us support children fighting cancer!
